1. 250 Openzone Wi-Fi minutes a month
Every BT Total Broadband Option comes complete with 250 inclusive Openzone Wi-Fi minutes* a month, for the length of your contract (12 or 18 months). So you can wirelessly access the Internet when you’re out and about.
A one-off voucher will provide all minutes available during the minimum term (4,500 for an 18 month contract or 3,000 for 12 months). Minutes can be used in over 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the UK and Ireland.
2. BT Home Hub
BT Total Broadband allows you to bring together all your communication needs in one device – the stylish BT Home Hub.
Connect up to 10 wireless devices at the same time, make cheap calls over your broadband connection with BT Broadband Talk – even take control of your TV with BT’s new on-demand digital TV service, BT Vision.
The BT Home Hub is free with BT Total Broadband Options 2 and 3 and only £30 with Option 1 when ordered online.
3. Security
Our security features are designed to update automatically to help keep you and your family safe online, and help protect your PC against viruses and other unwanted intruders.
The BT Home Hub also includes built in security and a private access code to help protect your wireless network.
4. Up to 8Mb download speeds
You can now get BT Total Broadband at speeds over 100 times faster than Dial up.
‘Up to 8Mb download speeds’ describes the amount of data which can be downloaded per second (8,000 bits per second). This refers to download speeds only, uploads speeds will be less.
Factors affecting 8Mb speeds also include local availability and line test. If your line won't support up to 8Mb, we'll offer the best speed available on your line.
5. BT Broadband Talk inclusive call minutes
All BT Total Broadband Options include Evening and Weekend UK* phone calls, from 6pm to 6am over the Internet with BT Broadband Talk.
The BT Hub Phone (included with Option 3) allows you to make cheap calls over your broadband connection, in the same way you use a normal landline phone.
* Means 01 and 02 numbers, excluding Channel Islands. Other exclusions apply. 3ppm after one hour. Redial before one hour to avoid call charges. Opt-in required. Quality of reception may not match landline. Service restrictions apply eg 999 calls. Limited emergency location information stored. Service will fail if there is a power failure. Abuse policy applies. Touchtone telephone required.
6. A range of monthly usage options
So you only pay for what you use, BT Total Broadband Options 1, 2 and 3 include a monthly usage limit. If you go over your limit, you can still use your broadband – however, if you regularly exceed your limit, we may contact you about upgrading your package.
BT Total Broadband Option 1, with a 5GB usage limit, is suited to users who mainly use the Internet for browsing, checking and downloading emails, and watching a small amount of media content like movie trailers. For heavier users, who download music and video files, and receive large email attachments, Option 2 and 3 are better suited.

BT Digital Vault provides a secure online location for you to store, share and access any personal files from your computer. Backup and manage photos, emails, music, video files and contact information 24/7, from any computer with online access.
